Armorcoat Security Films are available in a range of thicknesses,
depending on each individual requirement, from reducing attempted
entry through the glass to minimising glass injury in the event of
an explosion.
The Tint Shop is an approved Armorcoat dealer and is permitted to
market and install these high end products. In order to achieve the
requirements on installation, where excessive force or maximum security
is required, it is necessary to install the film with a structural
silicone adhesive applied to the film and window frame. This reduces
the event of the glass breaking away from the frame when an impact
occurs. This film can also be installed with a mechanical attachment
system, and can provide a cosmetically more appealing finish.
Armorcoat films are available in clear and tinted styles.
